Tyler has always loved dogs. He has never been without one, and often many more than one. He began working for doggy daycares in 2010. In May of 2022 he decided it was time to open his own center. Puptown Funk is his life's passion, and opening his own business his life's goal. He cares and loves every dog at Puptown Funk as if they were his own, and while he doesn't agree, many people have called him the dog whisperer.

Deb is a retired music teacher (primarily HS) of 42 years. She also helped her husband with the people side of his business for the same amount of time. With a life long love for math, creativity, people and dogs, she runs the front office.
Manager & Trainer - Certified Dog CPR & First Aid
Jesse is a certified dog trainer and pet photographer. He has many years of experience in dog handling, working both in and out of Maine. His calm demeanor and willingness to jump in at any time for whatever is needed to be done is truly wonderful. Jesse is a great team player with a constant and attentive eye on each of the dogs in his care.

After bringing his dog Arlo to Puptown for over a year, Mark joined our team of dog handlers. A long time dog owner, Mark is a great addition to our team. The dogs in his area truly love him and he is always careful to make sure they have everything they need! Mark is also an excellent handy man with a keen eye out for anything that needs to be done.

Oscar's love for dogs is so easy to see, as well as his dependability and kind heart. Oscar arrives every day with a smile on his face, ready to play and love as many dogs as he can, and they love him back.

Jon joined our team after stepping too closely while dropping his own dog off for daycare! He truly enjoys the break from his pressure job, and loves taking care of everyone's dogs on the weekends when they board with us. He even adopted one of our foster pups!
Dog Groomer & Dog Handler
Erin was a dog groomer in Texas for 18 years, including having her own mobile pet grooming business, before moving to Maine and running into Tyler. She is thrilled to once again be around and working with dogs - they are truly the joy in her life. Erin is a high energy person who excels in connecting to dogs and quickly understanding their behaviors.

Michelle comes to Puptown with years of experience training service dogs for Veterans, Police, and First Responders, working with Tails of Valor. She has engaged in several self study, dog training conferences with plans of becoming certified trainer in the future. She is a wonderful, enthusiastic and can-do member of our team.
Dog Handler
Bill comes to Puptown with experience caring for, training & rehabilitating dogs in order to find their forever homes. This includes preparing dogs for the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards. His career in IT assists us in the business side of things. Bill's energy, enthusiasm and creative way of looking at things are a wonderful asset to our team.
