Tyler has always loved dogs. He has never been without one, and often many more than one. He began working for doggy daycares in 2010. In May of 2022 he decided it was time to open his own center. Puptown Funk is his life's passion, and opening his own business his life's goal. He cares and loves every dog at Puptown Funk as if they were his own, and while he doesn't agree, many people have called him the dog whisperer. Tyler is PetTech Certified in Dog CPR & First Aid.
Co-Founder & Business Manager
Deb is a retired music teacher (primarily HS) of 42 years. She also helped her husband with the people side of his business for the same amount of time. With a life long love for math, creativity, people and dogs, she runs the front office. Deb is PetTech Certified in Dog CPR & First Aid.
Manager & Trainer
Jesse is a certified dog trainer and pet photographer. He has many years of experience in dog handling, working both in and out of Maine. His calm demeanor and willingness to jump in at any time for whatever is needed to be done is truly wonderful. Jesse is a great team player with a constant and attentive eye on each of the dogs in his care. Jersser is PetTech Certified in Dog CPR & First Aid.
Dog Handler
After bringing his dog Arlo to Puptown for over a year, Mark joined our team of dog handlers. A long time dog owner, Mark is a great addition to our team. The dogs in his area truly love him and he is always careful to make sure they have everything they need! Mark is also an excellent handy man with a keen eye out for anything that needs to be done. Mark is PetTech Certified in Dog CPR & First Aid.
Dog Handler
Audrey has always had a connection to dogs, and has found them to be of a constant source of love and comfort. She treats every dog in her care as if they were her own. She has more energy than most and is continually on the move making sure the day runs smoothly and that all the dogs have the love and attention they deserve. Audrey is PetTech Certified in Dog CPR & First Aid.
Dog Handler/Boarding
Jon joined our team after stepping too closely while dropping his own dog off for daycare! He truly enjoys the break from his pressure job, and loves taking care of everyone's dogs on the weekends when they board with us. He even adopted one of our foster pups! Jon is PetTech Certified in Dog CPR & First Aid.

Rain is a dedicated and hard working dog handler that eagerly learns all she can with enthusiasm and dependability. Her first love was the small dogs but soon found her self equally comfortable and happy with the big dogs and all sizes in between!Rain is PetTech Certified in Dog CPR & First Aid.

Avary is a strong, enthusiastic and dependable dog handler. Puptown is her first job and she is doing a pawtastic! Avary cares deeply that every dog in her care is well attended and loved. She always goes the extra mile to make sure all their needs are met.

Oscar's love for dogs is so easy to see, as well as his dependability and kind heart. Oscar arrives every day with a smile on his face, ready to play and love as many dogs as he can, and they love him back.
In March of 2026 our owners and 5 of our handlers became certified in Dog CPR & First Aid. It is a two year certification. Puptown sponsored this training class as we knew this knowledge would be key to running a strong and dependable daycare. It was great hands on training and not only provided everyone with important knowledge, it gave our team the chance to work together in a new way for the benefit of all of our dogs.
